How to Delete Your Data

You can delete your data directly from the Train Timing PK app at any time. No account or login is required.

  1. Open the Train Timing PK app on your device.
  2. Tap the Settings tile on the Dashboard (or navigate to Settings from the menu).
  3. Tap Data & Privacy.
  4. Select the data categories you want to delete.
  5. Tap Delete Selected Data and confirm.

What Data Is Deleted

When you use the in-app deletion feature, the following data is permanently removed:

Data Type Action
Recent searches (station pairs, name queries) Deleted from device
Favorite trains Deleted from device
Departure alerts Deleted from device
Journey history & travel stats Deleted from device
FCM push notification token Deleted from device & server
Device identifier (UUID) Deleted from device
Cached train schedules Deleted from device
App preferences & settings Deleted from device

What Data Is Retained

The following data cannot be deleted through the in-app mechanism:

Data Type Retention Period Reason
Schedule correction submissions Until manually reviewed Corrections improve data accuracy for all users
Firebase Analytics data Up to 14 months Automatically deleted by Google after retention period
Firebase Crashlytics logs 90 days Automatically deleted by Google after retention period

Alternative: Uninstall the App

Uninstalling Train Timing PK removes all locally stored data from your device, including cached schedules, preferences, favorites, journey history, and departure alerts. Server-side data (analytics, crash logs) will be automatically deleted after the retention periods listed above.
